Fresno Frenzy

by Clinton Anderson 7. August 2012 00:01

What a weekend for the Method in Fresno! Clinton and Diez rocked the Save Mart Center at Fresno State University with their advanced demos at liberty and under saddle. The partnership between Clinton and his 12-year-old gelding just keeps getting better. Clinton explained how the Method can work on a variety of horses using local problem horses in demonstrations like gaining a hard-to-catch horse’s trust and respect and teaching a fearful horse to load calmly onto a trailer.

The generosity of the crowd helped the Ritchie Ball Charity Toss organization Stable Hands raise $5025.  Clinton’s apprentice Brittany Huff volunteered at the therapeutic riding center for nine years and her sister is actively involved in its program. Because of Brittany’s loyalty to Downunder Horsemanship, Clinton matched the money the therapeutic riding center earned dollar for dollar to raise the grand total to $10,410.  Based in Yreka, California, Stable Hands is a recognized PATH International Center and will use the funds for its equine assisted activity and therapy programs.

Our next tour stop is September 8th and 9th in Kalispell, Montana at the Majestic Valley Arena. We hope to see you there!
