And the Saddle Goes To …

We held our final Walkabout Tour in Waterloo, Iowa, at the beginning of the month, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sendoff. To celebrate the close of over two decades of unforgettable tours, we launched the Big Blue Sendoff Contest, giving horsemen the chance to win an Aussie Saddle by sharing their journey with the Method.

Participants signed Big Blue, Clinton’s iconic truck that’s been a part of countless tours and memories, and then posted a short video to their social media telling us how the Method has impacted their lives. We were blown away by the heartfelt stories, the passion and the gratitude shared by horsemen across the country and even had a few international entries. Each submission reminded us of why Clinton began teaching in the first place—to help horsemen gain the knowledge and confidence to create safer, more enjoyable partnerships with their horses.

We’re excited to announce that Annamae Caswell won the Big Blue Sendoff Contest and will be getting a new saddle delivered to her! Annamae’s story with the Method began nearly 20 years ago when she was first introduced to Clinton at the Midwest Horse Fair. That initial spark of inspiration stayed with her, and now that she owns a horse of her own, she relies on the Method to guide her horsemanship journey. For Annamae, the Method has become more than just a training technique—it’s a foundation that helps her stay safe on the trails and continually build her confidence as a horsewoman.

Her submission reflected the true heart of what the Method is all about: empowering horsemen to take control of their horsemanship, overcome challenges and find joy in the journey with their horses. Clinton was thrilled to congratulate Annamae personally in a special video message, which you can watch on the Downunder Horsemanship YouTube channel.
