Enrollment for the Academy Horse Training Program is officially open, and we’re excited to welcome the next group of horses to the ranch. If you’ve been looking for a proven way to bring out the best in your horse—whether they’re green-broke, have behavioral challenges, or you simply don’t have the time or consistency to train them yourself—this program is designed for you.

This six-week program is designed to put a solid, dependable foundation on horses using the Method. Throughout the course, horses are worked with six days a week for two-and-a-half hours a day, allowing for consistent progress while building their confidence and bettering their training.

During their stay at the Downunder Horsemanship Ranch, horses learn all of the Fundamentals-level groundwork and riding exercises, along with essential daily handling skills like tying patiently, standing quietly for the farrier, bathing and loading in the trailer and hauling calmly.

A large part of the horses’ training is focused on exposing them to obstacles and riding outside of the arena, helping them become well-rounded and dependable in a variety of situations.

At the end of their horse’s training, owners travel to the ranch for a full day of hands-on instruction. You’ll work directly with your horse and the Method Ambassador who trained them, learning exactly what your horse was taught and how to continue building on that foundation at home.

Training spots are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’ve been waiting for the right time to invest in your horse’s education, now’s your chance.

Learn more about the Academy Horse Training Program and enroll your horse on our website.
