Australia “Two Legends” Event Tickets Now Available

Clinton is teaming up with his mentor and standout horseman Ian Francis to put on a two-day training demonstration in Caboolture, Queensland, December 9th and 10th. The event is being held at the Queensland State Equestrian Centre and will begin at 9 a.m. each day and run until 5 p.m. and include an autograph session at the end of each day.

Schedule of Events:

Saturday

9:00 – 10:30 a.m.: Gaining Respect and Control on the Ground With Clinton
The best training foundation begins on the ground by teaching a horse to respect and trust you as his leader. Clinton demonstrates how Fundamentals groundwork exercises help you establish yourself as a trustworthy leader and give you control of your horse’s feet and mind. The skills you teach your horse on the ground carry over to training him under saddle and set the horse up for success.

10:30 – 11 a.m.: Break
Visit our retail area and grab a refreshment from the café.

11:00 – 12:30 p.m.: Building Your Toolbox With Ian
Ian teaches you how to educate your hands and your feet. You’ll learn to develop your sense of feel and awareness, which in turn will improve your feel, timing and coordination. This training demo will help you develop the tools you need to advance your horse’s education.

12:30 – 1:30 p.m.: Lunch Break
The café is open all day, serving breakfast, lunch, refreshments and snacks.

1:30 – 3:00 p.m.: Gaining Control of Your Horse’s Five Body Parts With Clinton
No matter what discipline you do with your horse, to succeed you must be able to control his body from his nose to his tail. Clinton explains how to soften and supple a horse’s five body parts – head and neck, poll, shoulders, ribcage and hindquarters – for ultimate body control and increased performance.

3:00 – 3:30 p.m.: Break
Visit our retail area and grab a refreshment from the café.

3:30-5:00 p.m.: Understanding Form as it Relates to Function With Ian

5:00 p.m.: Autograph Signing
Clinton and Ian are available to sign autographs and answer your horse training questions.

Sunday

9:00 – 10:30 a.m.: Trouble-Free Trailer Loading With Clinton
Clinton demonstrates how to use the Approach and Retreat Method to build a horse’s confidence to willingly load in a trailer. You’ll learn how Clinton’s trailer-loading method can be used in any situation in which a horse doesn’t want to step on or go in or through an object, including getting your horse to cross streams and step onto bridges.

10:30 – 11 a.m.: Break
Visit our retail area and grab a refreshment from the café.

11:00 – 12:30 p.m.: Retraining the High-Headed Horse With Ian
Without the use of tie-downs, rings or gimmicks, you’ll learn how to teach a high-headed horse to relax and accept the bridle. Ian will take a horse that has become high-headed through fear or disrespect of the bridle and bring the horse to understand lateral and vertical flexion and develop a new understanding about how to relate to the bit.

12:30 – 1:30 p.m.: Lunch Break
The café is open all day, serving breakfast, lunch, refreshments and snacks.

1:30 – 3:00 p.m.: Problem Solving Under Saddle With Clinton

Or maybe you have a horse that speeds up and you have no idea why. Ian will explore techniques to develop a horse’s balance and confidence to stay centered under the rider.
