Horses
Downunder Horsemanship is looking for fearful, disrespectful and spooky horses, horses with general control problems, and horses that you’ve tried training with the Method but need help in some areas.
Groundwork
Your horse will learn Fundamentals level exercises to improve their respect and control on the ground.
Riding
Your horse will learn to walk, trot and canter in a relaxed manner on a loose rein, respond to a rider’s cues and develop better steering.
Obstacles
Your horse will learn how to safely negotiate a variety of obstacles, including bridges, logs and tarps.
Fees
There is a $140 one-time, non-refundable deposit for Downunder Horsemanship to use your horse in the event regardless of how much the horse is used. The $140 is payable upon confirmation that your horse is selected.
Schedule
All horses must arrive at the facility between 9 a.m. and noon on Thursday, August 27, and will be released at the end of the day on Sunday, August 30, once the demonstrations are over.
Accomodations
Stalls will be available at the facility. Rates vary by state and facility. All horse owners are responsible for their own feed and shavings and care of their horses.
Submit a horse
Got a horse that needs help? Submit your horse for consideration and we’ll be in touch if you’re selected.
