Excited to Welcome Our 2026 Clinician Academy Class

This weekend, a new class of horsemen will arrive at the Downunder Horsemanship Ranch to work toward their goal of becoming Method Ambassadors. The Clinician Academy, a demanding seven-week experience built to refine the horseman’s skills and raise their horsemanship to a professional level, gets started on Monday, April 6.

Under the guidance of Professional Clinician Jeff Davis, students will be pushed both mentally and physically as they deepen their understanding of the Method and learn to apply it with confidence in real-world situations. Each participant brings two of their own horses, progressing them through the Fundamentals level, and is ultimately tested on how well they trained the horses.

Throughout the course, students will be evaluated on their knowledge, communication and ability to clearly demonstrate and explain the Method. Through a combination of written and practical exams, they must prove they’re not only capable horsemen, but effective teachers as well.

At the end of the seven weeks, there’s more on the line than personal progress. Those who meet the standard will earn the title of Method Ambassador—representing Downunder Horsemanship with professionalism, integrity and proven results. We’re excited to see this group put in the work and rise to the occasion.
