Find It on the No Worries Club: Mistakes to Avoid When Doing Rollbacks

Rollbacks are a staple in Clinton’s training program because they’re a great exercise to get full body control of your horse. However, if not executed properly, the benefits of doing the exercise with your horse will lose their value.

Five of the most common mistakes Clinton sees people making are:

    1. Not using enough outside leg to cue the horse through the turn.
    2. Leaning into the turn.
    3. Doing the exercise at a walk or jog.
    4. Not driving the horse out of the turn.
    5. Horse does a U-turn.
