Get Out of the Arena

Want to challenge your horsemanship and build a better partnership with your horse? Make it your goal to get out of the arena and on the trail! Start studying now with Clinton’s Fundamentals In Action on the Trail Series so that you’re ready to hit the trail this spring. Fundamentals In Action on the Trail provides all the steps you need to train your horse to be a safe, willing trail partner. You’ll learn:

  • What your horse needs to know before introducing him to trail riding
  • Foundation trail exercises
  • How to introduce and overcome obstacles on the trail
  • How to solve problems that are likely to crop up on the trail
  • How to safely introduce your horse to group riding

The all-inclusive training kit is a supplement to the renowned Fundamentals Series, meaning that you and your horse should have mastered the Fundamentals level groundwork and riding exercises before venturing out of the arena, and comes with 10 DVDs and two hardcover books that detail Clinton’s trail-training process. Learn all about the kit — watch sample DVD lessons and read excerpts from the books — at www.clintononthetrail.com.

This November, Clinton is teaching a three-day Training on the Trail Clinic held at the Downunder Horsemanship Ranch in Stephenville, Texas. The clinic will be dedicated to putting the lessons in the Fundamentals In Action on the Trail Series to work. The clinic is open to participants and 350 spectators. Learn more about the clinic on our website.
