Clinton has officially reinstated the popular Academy Horse Program at the Downunder Horsemanship Ranch! Now, you can send your horse to the ranch to be trained in the Fundamentals level of the Method. While Clinton and his Professional Clinicians will oversee and take an active role in your horse’s progress, a Method Ambassador invited back to the ranch by Clinton to work toward their next level of certification will train your horse.
At the end of the six-week course, you’ll spend a day at the ranch learning everything your horse has been taught and receiving a one-on-one lesson from your horse’s trainer. Your lesson will include all the groundwork and riding exercises your horse has learned and will take place in the arena and on the ranch’s newly built obstacle course.
“We’re excited to be bringing the program back. It’s a great service to horsemen wanting a safe, willing horse they can enjoy and it’s a way for the ambassadors I’ve invited back to the ranch to continue to hone their skills as they work toward becoming Certified Clinicians. I’ve got a soft spot for horsemen who are passionate about bettering themselves,” Clinton says.
The Academy Horse Program is perfect for colts needing started under saddle to horses that have been to multiple trainers with no success. “The Academy has been the last resort for a lot of horses. We handle everything from a green-broke horse that just needs more experience to literal man-killers,” Clinton says.
He’s so confident in the program that he’s offering a money-back guarantee. “If on the day of your lesson you are unhappy with how your horse is behaving and the training he’s received, we’ll give you your money back. What trainer in their right mind does that? That just shows how confident I am in the Method and the Academy,” Clinton says.
