0730_02

In the newest episode of the Uncut & Real Raw podcast, Clinton visits with world champion trainer Troy Compton. Troy is recognized as one of the top western pleasure riders in American Quarter Horse Association history. He’s a three-time AQHA World Champion and a 12-time Congress Champion and one of only a handful of trainers to win a world championship in western pleasure in the AQHA, the American Paint Horse Association, the Palomino Horse Breeders Association, the Appaloosa Horse Club, and the Pinto Horse Association.

Throughout his career, Troy’s trained and ridden standout horses such as Skips Special Barb, Beretta McCue, Good Version, Radical Rumors, and Zippos Tiger Bar.

After accomplishing his goals in the western pleasure world, Troy set his focus on marketing all-around horses. He built top-level horses and coached riders to success in the show pen. Two years ago, he switched his focus to reining and is enjoying working with his clients and learning the sport at his barn in Purcell, Oklahoma.

Throughout the Uncut & Real Raw episode, Troy shares how he built his legendary career, tips for success in the equine industry and how he overcame his biggest challenges.
