Participants get hands-on help learning the first level of Clinton’s horsemanship method that focuses on groundwork and riding exercises. Clinton details his philosophy of horsemanship and covers the basics of respect, trust and control. Perfect for horsemen wanting an introduction to the Method or for those who want to brush up their skills.
All road clinics are held at covered arenas, with stalls available for rent.
Must be able to confidently canter your horse on a loose rein in a group setting with 19 other horses and riders.
The clinic will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and will include a one-hour lunch break. Doors will open at 8 a.m. A selection of Clinton’s best-selling training tools and equipment will be available for purchase. Friday of the clinic starts with Clinton explaining the philosophy behind his method of horse training and progresses to participants learning groundwork exercises. Saturday and Sunday of the clinic begin with groundwork in the morning and focus on riding exercises in the afternoon.
To ensure you receive the attention and assistance you need to make as much progress as possible, Clinton’s clinicians will be on hand to provide additional one-on-one help during the clinic and after hours.
Be a spectator and learn from the successes and challenges of 20 horses and riders as they work through Clinton’s Fundamentals exercises while receiving the clinician’s instruction and critique. Other than participating in a clinic, there’s no better way to learn how to fine-tune your application of the Method.
A completed application and a deposit of half the clinic fee will reserve your place in the clinic.
