During his early training years in Australia, Clinton was frustrated with the saddle pads he used. They caused dry spots and soreness issues for his horses, which hindered their performance. He was determined to remedy the situation, and set about creating his own saddle pad. He made his first prototype pad by hand in his mother’s kitchen and solved the issues his horses were having. Throughout his career, he has ridden the “PRS Pad” on hundreds of horses. When he came to the States, Clinton teamed up with Classic Equine to make the pad available to all horse owners.

If your horse experiences soreness or dry spots while being ridden, this “pressure relief system” pad will get him feeling comfortable again. Your horse’s performance will improve, allowing him to be softer and suppler, because the PRS Pad frees up his shoulders and hips, relieving strain and pressure from the saddle. The PRS Pad also absorbs shock and molds to the shape of a horse’s back to remain securely in place without shifting from side to side and its split design allows for the independent and free movement of the horse’s hips and shoulders. You’ll benefit from the pad’s unique leg cut design that provides a close contact fit for greater sensitivity, communication and feel of the horse.

The PRS Pad comes in three designs:
