Ever since we announced that Clinton would be focusing more on his performance horses and his personal goals as a horseman at the beginning of the year, rumors have been plentiful, and in many cases, downright entertaining (like where do people even come up with this stuff?!). We’re sharing the most popular comments we’ve heard from you or through the grapevine and setting the record straight so you have the information you need to know and can rest at ease.
Downunder Horsemanship is closing its doors for good. FALSE
Downunder Horsemanship is running full steam ahead and will continue to be a leader and innovator in the industry. Clinton has worked extremely hard throughout the past 20 plus years to build the company and share the Method with the horse community. Now that he’s in a position to focus more on his personal goals as a horseman, the team at Downunder Horsemanship fully supports his new journey and is willing to help him pursue his goals as best as we can.
A special thank you to all of you who have shared your words of encouragement and support to Clinton as he embarks on this new phase of his career. It means a lot to all of us!
All of the No Worries Club videos and training kits are going to digital-only versions. TRUE
Since the start of this year, we’ve been working toward making this transition. In February, we began delivering all No Worries Club videos as digital downloads. The videos are available to stream and download from the No Worries Club website and the Downunder Horsemanship App.
We are in the process of converting our entire library of training kits and videos to digital downloads. In the near future, the training kits and videos will be offered in a digital format only. This includes all DVDs, Arena Mates and books that are included in each of the training kits.
The digital training kits and instructional videos are available to stream on your personal computer by accessing the Downunder Horsemanship website. Or, you can use the Downunder Horsemanship app to stream and download the content.
Detailed information, as well as frequently asked questions, can be found on our website.
2018 was the last year of the Clinician Academy. FALSE
Clinton is committed more than ever to the success of the Clinician Academy. Our Professional and Certified Clinicians and Method Ambassadors are the future of Downunder Horsemanship. Clinton’s goal is to only certify qualified individuals who are passionate about sharing the Method and have met his high standards. He’s dedicated to keeping the quality of the Academy high to ensure the Downunder Horsemanship community has access to hands-on help and instruction when they need it.
The 2019 Clinician Academy will be held April 29th thru June 14th. Get all the details about the seven-week course on our website.
The warehouse is closing down and Downunder Horsemanship will no longer be selling any products. FALSE
We’re continuing to offer our product line of high-quality tack, equipment, media and apparel. You will notice that we are discontinuing products that are not popular among our customers and just flat out don’t sell. For example, odd color combinations of Handy Sticks and rope colors that the majority of the community is not interested in.
The warehouse is being relocated to Farmington, Arkansas to a facility that is better equipped at handling day-to-day inventory, shipping and receiving tasks. The process of moving the warehouse is taking place now and will hopefully be completed by the first of September. From a customer standpoint, other than noticing that your packages are being shipped out of a different State, this change will not affect you. In fact, we’re confident the move will improve customer service and speed up our ability to get your packages to you.
If the entire ranch sells, Clinton is moving back to Australia. FALSE
Clinton is hoping to sell two individual sections of the Downunder Horsemanship Ranch that he no longer needs to train his performance horses. If the right buyer, who meets Clinton’s requirements, comes around to purchase the entire property, Clinton will sell it and find a smaller property to train out of that meets his needs as a performance horse trainer. Focusing on his performance horses is a new venture for Clinton, and he’s embracing wherever this next step in his horsemanship journey takes him so that he can reach his personal goals.
Clinton will not be teaching any clinics on the road or at the ranch next year. TRUE
Clinton will not be teaching any three-day Fundamentals Clinics on the road or any clinics at the ranch in 2019. Our talented clinicians and ambassadors will continue to teach clinics and private lessons around the world. You can learn more about each of our highly-trained professionals on our website.
Walkabout Tours will continue to be held around the USA. TRUE
In 2019, Clinton plans on holding four Walkabout Tours around the United States. Look for tour locations and dates to be released later this year.
The No Worries Club will no longer exist. FALSE
The club and the benefits that come with being a member are only going to get stronger. The loyal horsemen who make up the No Worries Club are the lifeblood of Downunder Horsemanship and the most powerful force we have for spreading the Method around the world. Now that he does not have as many public events and commitments, Clinton is able to focus more of his time on adding to the content and quality of the club.
The ranch is not accepting Academy Horses for training at this time. TRUE
We are currently not accepting new Academy Horses for training at the ranch. All of our Professional and Certified Clinicians and Method Ambassadors, who trained extensively with Clinton and are located around the United States and in Israel, train horses for the public. At this time, if you’re interested in having your horse taken through the six-week Academy Horse program, please contact a clinician or ambassador directly to schedule a training session for your horse. You can contact a clinician or ambassador by visiting our website.
In a nutshell, while Clinton’s personal life and goals as a horseman have shifted, much of Downunder Horsemanship is staying the same. As always, we appreciate your support and hope you’re just as excited as we are about the future and can’t wait to cheer Clinton on in the show pen!
